Delicious warm, drizzled with honey or maple syrup or dipped into strawberry jam and served with fresh strawberries.
125g (5oz) Juvela Low Protein Mix
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp caster sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
250ml (8floz) low protein milk*
1. Place the Mix into a large jug or bowl. Add the baking powder, sugar, salt and oil. Gradually pour in the low protein milk and beat well until the mixture is smooth.
2. Heat the waffle maker and lightly brush with vegetable oil. Pour spoonfuls of the batter over the plates of the waffle maker, making sure the batter fills the moulds. Close tehe lid and cook for 4-5 minutes until the waffles are risen, golden and crispy.
3. Carefully remove the waffles from the machine and place on a wire rack to cool slightly.
